A Moment To Remember

the title of a korean film i watched yesterday...
which i ended up in tears....
it's been a while since last cried from watching a movie (the last time was after watching final destination 3 at the cinema ...it was tears out of shock..during that scene...u know...ala u know....* i don't want to spoil it for those who haven't watch it)

it's an intense movie about a man dealing with his young wife with alzheimer disease...
although the vcd cover stated that it is a korean "fantasy" movie.....and as i was discussing with my housemate wether there is such person who would do such things (taking care of their partner in their sick/old days and sacrifice a lot of things along the way)....i automatically answered "ade"

i don't live in fantasy .... i live in reality which was brought upon me....some might call it "fate"....
as fate's best witness....having a mother with breast cancer and a father who's eaten up with old age....i do believe god is fair....knowing they're destined for each other ....
she has her support from all of us...but the person to be best responsible for all her courage is.. my dad...the one who not only shares the same bed...but also all her pain through the nights..

He's not afterall a perfect man...he had his flaws in the earlier days...he always have problems dealing with sick people before...he's an emotional person (which makes him a passionate man)....but my dad adapted really quick...and well.....
i guess this is what they call adaptation...
one has the potential of being that person....from the moment they were questioned/question themselves wether they're willing to adapt the consequences...and monologue their answer into a 'yes' or 'no'

i know about real stories of people who leaves their spouse after finding out they have a disease ....that is too...a reality.....who ever said it's always pretty...

IMHO , movies are inspired by true events faced by certain individuals. And I believe there are people who would stay with their spouse/lover for the sake of love and not blindly based on pity.
Your parents do show true grit in going through life's struggle. This will only make your parents and your family stronger in dealing life issues.

indeed ... i believe each of us question ourselves ....and wouldn't think we can do it until we face the test of the real deal....
.it does makes us stronger and strengthen the family bond..

soprano?....awww you're being too kind ...i could only wish the microphone didn't reach it's maximum gain tolerance....i didn't have extra money to pay damage expenses that night...
:D
so your first experience was a bad one....i hope it was better second time around.... or yet...the third

my best trait is honesty ... and mind you the microphone was not functioning that well that night... if not you would sing even better... it was indeed great the second time around .. the third is anybody's guess ;>
